Plant City, FL -- The public is invited to share ideas on how to complete the revitalization of Laura Street.

Items for consideration include proposed infrastructure improvements and amendments to zoning and land use regulations to allow commercial development within the Laura Street redevelopment area.

A community meeting is being held to solicit public comments on planned improvements and whether changes should be made in the City’s Comprehensive Plan to accommodate neighborhood businesses as well as the type of businesses that should be permitted.

The date, time, and place of the meeting are as follows:

  • TIME: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • PLACE: St. Luke Independent Church

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, a record of the proceedings will be needed, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
