Fit2Run to host Tampa Glow Run & Party Wednesday

Tampa, FL-- This coming Wednesday, Fit2Run out of International Plaza will host a Glow Run and after party in honor of National Running Safety Month.

If you're interested in participating, be sure to wear your brightest glowing gear! You could win a $50 Fit2Run gift card for having the "Best Glowing Costume"- and the fun doesn't stop there. Organizers will provide free beer and food, plus 15% off any night-time running item- all to be enjoyed during the social gathering set to take place after the run.

Fishhawk Turkey Trot

Lithia, Florida -- The race is Nov. 22, and features a 5K and a Kids' 1M or Fun Run.

Proceeds from the event are put back into the community, and addressing hunger needs in Lithia.

Students looking for community service hours can also do a neighborhood drive.

Tampa, Florida -- The Great Westchase 5K is back! Lace up your running shoes and head over to the starting line Village Plaza in West Park Village on this Saturday, October 27.

The race kicks off at 8 a.m., followed by the children's Fun Run at 9 a.m.

Tampa, Florida -- Come out to the Westchase Golf Club to golf for a good cause this Thursday!

The 3rd Annual Heart Walk Golf Tournament is this Thursday, Oct. 25.

Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. with a shotgun start following at 8 a.m..

The awards ceremony and lunch is scheduled for 12:45 p.m.

Kick or Treat cup soccer tournament in Riverview

Riverview, Florida - A competitive youth soccer tournament is being held on today, Friday October 12, Saturday October 13 and Sunday October 14 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. for teams from all over Florida (mainly the Tampa Bay Area).

Organizers say the tournament will host approximately 80 teams. Team members will be from the ages of 8 to 15, and about 1,000 kids will take part.

Prizes will be awarded for the most original,creative, funniest, scariest, and best overall team costumes in honor of Halloween.

Register now for adult flag football in Ruskin

Ruskin, FL- If you live in the Ruskin area now is the time to join a 4-on-4 Adult Flag Football Camp.

The camp is open to everyone 18 and up and registration is being held right now.

For more information and to register, call Kevin Clethen, Ruskin Recreation Center at 813-672-7881.

Games are held from Thursday, October 11 - Thursday, December 6; Every Thursday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Ruskin Recreation Center, 901 6th St. SE in Ruskin.

The cost is $25 per player and that fee includes awards.
