Tampa, FL-- The Tampa Bay Lightning are prepared for another stiff challenge from the second-place Washington Capitals, on Friday night, at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Some of the Caps have already said that Friday's game, is their biggest game of the season.  They've lost 3 in a row, and have fallen 5 points behind the Lightning in the Southeast Division.

On the other hand, the Bolts have won 6 in a row, their longest winning streak in 7 years.

"Well, we got some big games coming up," said Lightning winger Simon Gagne.  "Philly last game, now Washington, I think we got Detroit coming, pretty soon, Philly again, but tomorrow might be one of the biggest ones."

"These are two teams that are hungry," said the NHL's leading goal-scorer Steven Stamkos. "They're trying to catch us, we're trying to extend that lead... I think the first period is going to be exciting, two teams are going to come out hard... we gotta do what we did against Philly, come out strong, and really set the tone for the rest of the game."

Puck-drop at the Forum Friday, is 7:30pm.
