TAMPA, Florida -- USF vs. U-Conn at Raymond James; it's the Bulls last home game of the regular season and USF fans are tailgating in style.

"Like nothing you've ever seen before. Best tailgating set up, best in USF history," says USF class of 2004 alum Marc Ostroff.

Ostroff has a tent set up with a trailer that has the comforts from home. "We have trailer built-in TV, automatic HD satellite dish, a keg-orator inside USF tap handle...of course we have a Bull bar. Have to have the liquor," explains Ostroff.

Row after row of tents are filled with food and lots of it from catered trays of sandwiches and desserts and homemade dishes to the sweet smell of barbeque ribs and grilled burgers. Add some USF spirit -- "Go Bulls!" shout out fans.

USF alum Ward Griffin, class of 1973, says for good tailgating don't forget the bell, the green and gold beads, a good attitude, a fun time and remember to be nice to others. "[A] Bull fan is someone with pride," adds Griffin.

The season ticket holder and his son show up at noon three hours before the gates open at 3 p.m. to begin tailgating. Griffin says he sets up across from the stadium entrance. "We welcome anyone to come by, whether a fan of USF or not. We believe in hospitality."

It's a winning combination Bulls fans hope will play out on the field against the Huskies.  "We have the confidence. [We] just beat Miami coming off a great win. [There's] no doubt in my mind [we'll] pull out a 'W' tonight," says Ostroff.

U-CONN fans are clearly outnumbered at this game but a couple of Husky fans say they're impressed with USF's tailgating skills and their friendliness.

"They're very friendly, very social. Maybe it's that southern hospitality. We like that a lot," says U-Conn fan John Jobin.

Still, Huskies fans say they're here for one reason: to win. "Huskies like steak," says U-Conn fan Bobbi Berglund.

USF fans say not so fast. "Of course we are going to win."

A USF win will help the Bulls improve their Bowl game position and end up playing in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas on New Year's Eve.
