Bar Review: The Chase Club

Bar Review: The Chase Club

Westchase, Florida -- The Chase Club in Westchase is located next to the Grapevine Liquor store, which was a well thought out strategy.  Not only does this ensure the bar will never run low on booze, you can usually get some to take home with you at the end of the night.

Drinks:  The bar is full liquor.  All the bar favorites like beer, wine, Sex on the Beach, Tequila Sunrise and Rum and Coke are available.  Some specialty favorites are the chocolate martini and during the fall days, the pumpkin martini will really set the season.  There are more than 150 import and domestic bottled beers to choose from and 14 taps and some house wines as well...

For years, Ken and Kathy Kroll owned the sub shop frequented by people who worked for the county or had business to do there.

Ken, who was known for greeting many of his customers by name, died after a long illness in June of 2009. Kathy continued to operate the popular restaurant and sub shop until December, but decided it was too tough to do alone.
