WestBay receives 2011 Parade Honors

Lithia– In its first Parade of Homes competition, Homes by WestBay earned two Merit Awards for its residential designs in the master-planned community of FishHawk Ranch during the 2011 Tampa Bay Parade of Homes.

Just eight Merit Awards were presented at the recent Parade of Homes banquet in Tampa, with WestBay’s Key Largo II in the Garden District of FishHawk Ranch in Lithia, and the Boca Grande in the community’s Starling neighborhood prominent among them, says company president Willy Nunn.

The 3,402-square-foot Boca Grande, 15912 Oak Leaf Run, is a five-bedroom, four-bath design with a bonus room; a study; and three-car garage.  It includes formal and informal living areas ideal for entertaining and outdoor activities.  The Boca Grande is priced from $384,990 including homesite.

As for the 3,346-square-foot Key Largo II model home, 5921 FishHawk Crossing Blvd., this five-bedroom, four-bath design has a three-car garage, study, master-suite sitting area and a bonus room. The home’s outdoor living area features a deck, fireplace and kitchen.  It is priced from $394,900 including homesite.

Aside from FishHawk Ranch, WestBay homes are being built in Hillsborough County at MiraBay in the Southshore area, as well as in southern Pasco County at Seven Oaks.

With villas, single-family and executive residences priced from $189,900 and ranging in size from 1,750 to more than 4,000 square feet of living space, WestBay offers more than 10 new floor plans.

To reach the Key Largo II model, take Interstate 75 to Exit 250 (Gibsonton/Riverview) and travel about 9 miles east on Gibsonton Drive (which will become Boyette Road, then FishHawk Boulevard).  From FishHawk Boulevard, turn right onto FishHawk Crossing and go straight through the roundabout to the model on the right.

The Boca Grande can be reached by following the same directions as the Key Largo II until FishHawk Boulevard.  From FishHawk Boulevard, turn left on FishHawk Ridge Drive, right on Starling Crossing Boulevard, then left on Sanderling Drive.  At Persimmon Grove Drive, turn right, then left to 15912 Oak Leaf Run.

Model home hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and Sunday noon-6 p.m.

Homes by WestBay was founded by longtime Tampa Bay-area home builders Roger Gatewood and Willy Nunn.  Together, they have built thousands of homes in the Tampa Bay area during the past three decades.
