Free Sterilization of cats in zip code 33610

Tampa, Florida-- Thanks to a $190,000 grant from PetSmart Charities®, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay Animal Health Center, located at 3809 N Armenia Ave, is offering free cat sterilizations for indoor/outdoor cats living in the 33610 zip code area.

Residents living in 33610 can call 813-870-3304 to make an appointment for a free sterilization for their cat(s). The offer is effective immediately and will remain available through September 2014 or until the funds are used, says a release about the offer.

Celebrate spirit week with Canine Cabana

Riverview, Florida -- They've got sprirt, yes they do. They've got spirit, how 'bout you! It’s time to show your school spirit at Canine Cabana.

Starting Sept. 17, they will be celebrating spirit week with daily homecoming festivities. Each themed day encourages all four-legged guests to join The Cabana Staff as they dress up to show their team spirit.

Sebring, Florida-- The 2nd Annual Bully Summer Slam takes place on September 28 and 29 at the Highlands County Fair Convention Center.

The free event begins at 5 p.m. on Friday evening, and then at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Shows begin at 10 and 1 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Champions for Children.

Riverview, Florida-- As kids everywhere are heading back to school, the Canine Cabana in Riverview welcomes your pets back to class too!

Classes began on August 9, and pups brushed up on obedience skills in a game of Simon Says, played tetherball and relaxed during naptime.
