USF grad still in running to be Charlie Sheen's intern

Tampa, FL - University of South Florida graduate Amy Mariani grew up performing in the circus, working as an elephant rider and a juggler's assistant. That's also why the 22-year old says she's the perfect person to work for a man who is at the center of a media circus.

"I mean I was in the circus for 6 years. My parents were clowns. I've been all over the country. I'm pretty sure if anybody can handle (Charlie Sheen), it's going to be me," Mariani told 10 News.

More than 82,000 people applied to be Sheen's social media intern for the summer and Mariani is down to the final 50.
