Disabled law student wins van, but can't pay taxes

Riverview, Florida -- Antonio Dowels is winning! Literally. The University of Florida graduate was recently presented with a specially-equipped van that he won in a contest.

Antonio's beaming smile tells the story of his gratitude, because until now, life has thrown him some curve balls, and it touches his heart that complete strangers wanted to help.

"I just see myself as a normal person and it's gratifying and inspiring that people are helping me," said Dowels.

Report: IIFA Awards brings $26 million to Tampa Bay

Tampa, Florida -- Visit Tampa Bay has released their numbers on the impact the International Indian Film Academy Awards had on the area, and they say the event generated over $26 million and lured in an extra 30,000 visitors.

According to the report, IIFA attendees and visitors spent nearly $20 million in direct spending during IIFA celebrations. That's an average of more than $572 per traveler, per day.
