Police searching for suspect in deadly shooting

Tampa, FL - A man was found shot to death outside a Tampa apartment and Hillsborough deputies are searching for the person responsible.

The man was found at the Puritan Place Apartments near the Hillsborough River and Temple Terrace.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says several shots were heard before the man's body was found.

Deputies have released very little information.

We have a call out to find out who the victim is and if there's a description of the shooter.

Fire officials: Lightning caused Carrollwood condo fire

Carrollwood, Florida -- Hillsborough Fire Rescue crews say a lightning strike caused a two-alarm structure fire at the Grande Oasis Condos on Key Royale Lane in the Carrollwood Monday afternoon.

Fire officials say firefighters responded to the condominium complex around 3:50 p.m. to heavy flames coming from the roof of the 3-story building.

Residents were immediately evacuated with the help of the sheriff's office.

Pedestrian struck by train

Tampa, FL--Tampa Police Department are investigating an incident of a train striking a pedestrian at N. Blvd and West Busch Blvd (on the tracks approx 300 meters west of N. Blvd).

The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators are working on the identification of the victim.

Vehicle traffic on W. Busch and N. Blvd is not affected by this incident.

Woman reported missing out of Dover

Dover, Florida -- Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help locating a woman diagnosed with schizophrenia and is bipolar and may be armed with a knife.

Deputies say around 11:15 a.m. Monday, Rosalynn Marie took her father's 2006 silver Kia Sedona van without permission and fled 9422 Barrington Oaks Dr. in Dover.

She may be en route to the Bok Tower Gardens in Polk County.

Rosalynn Marie can be described as a Caucasian, 5'2", 230 lbs female with long gray hair and brown eyes.

Man threatens to shoot woman during road rage incident in Tampa

Tampa, Florida - Tampa Police want victims and witnesses to come forward - after a man armed with a gun threatened people in downtown Tampa. It started at Armenia Avenue and W. Kennedy Boulevard and ended across the city - the suspect was finally taken away in handcuffs at Adamo Drive and S. 22nd Street Sunday.

This man wrecked havoc on downtown. It was emotional and chaotic. There were several different scenes but it all ended here at this intersection.

Tampa Subject threatens to shoot

Tampa Police Officers were dispatched at the corner of Armenia Av and W. Kennedy Blvd in which witnesses were reporting that the driver of a Silver Honda was threatening to shoot a person.

A short time later another call was received at Jackson St E and N. Morgan St. in reference to a subject in a small Silver car who pointed a gun at a second victim and kicked them on the corner of the intersection. This time the caller provided a tag number of the vehicle.

TRAFFIC: Car crashes into utility pole on Memorial Hwy

Tampa, Florida -- Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies have closed all lanes on Memorial Highway between Kelly Road and Town 'N' Country Boulevard due to a downed power pole stemming from a crash that occurred Thursday morning.

Deputies say around 10:55 a.m., a 1995 Ford Explorer was heading north on Memorial Highway south of Bay Pointe Drive when for an unknown reason the driver lost control, left the roadway and hit a utility pole.
