Tampa Subject threatens to shoot

Tampa Police Officers were dispatched at the corner of Armenia Av and W. Kennedy Blvd in which witnesses were reporting that the driver of a Silver Honda was threatening to shoot a person.

A short time later another call was received at Jackson St E and N. Morgan St. in reference to a subject in a small Silver car who pointed a gun at a second victim and kicked them on the corner of the intersection. This time the caller provided a tag number of the vehicle.

An officer was on her way to work when she was flagged down at Channelside Ave and N. 12th Street in reference to a white male in a silver car pointing a gun at people. Moments later, officers observed the vehicle and were able to stop the vehicle at Adamo Drive and S. 22nd Street.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that the defendant pepper sprayed the initial victim, kicked him in the head and chased the victim while pointing a gun at him threatening to kill him. This was after the victim attempted to intervene in another road rage incident between the defendant and an unidentified woman in another vehicle. The second victim could not be located. Inside the defendant's vehicle were a loaded Glock .40 caliber handgun, an Asp, 3 canisters of pepper spray, 2 loaded magazines, and a knife.

33-year-old, Andre Anthony Rivera, was arrested.

Tampa Police are asking anybody with information about the second victim to contact the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130.
