Libraries will offer help to understand Obamacare

Town 'N Country, Florida - To help people understand how the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) works, a number of medical professionals and other specially trained volunteers in the Tampa area have scheduled an on-going series of informational meetings at Hillsborough public libraries.

Many community groups have also contacted this speakers bureau for speaking engagements on the ACA.

Obamacare open enrollment begins Oct. 1. With the opening of the new Insurance Marketplace, Floridians without insurance and businesses can shop in one place for the insurance plan that best fits their needs.

Library meetings are free and open to the public. In cooperation with a number of coalition partners including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Doctors for America, Enroll America Now, local community health centers, and Organizing for Action (OFA), these meetings are free to the public.

Upper Tampa Bay Library will host a meeting on September 26 at 7:00 p.m.

The library is located at 11211 Countryway Blvd, Tampa, Fl  33626.

Visit the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative website for information on sessions at other county library locations.

Spanish translation will be available.
