$11.6 Million curbside redesign at TIA

Tampa, FL -- Tampa International Airport has finalized plans for an $11.6 million of the curbside dropoff and pickup zones.
The airport says the Alfonso Architects design will enhance lighting and signage, as well as refurbish check-in podiums.
It is the first major re-design of the 40-year-old exterior of TIA's main building.
Work will begin sometime after April, and continue for 1 year. Renovations will only take place during off-peak hours at the airport.
