WCA Board to replace Association Manager

Westchase, FL - Following a private executive session on Nov. 18, the Westchase Community Association (WCA) elected to replace current Association Manager MaryJo LoCascio.

“The board of directors met in executive session regarding the performance and evaluation of personnel and, after much discussion, we decided MaryJo is not best fit for Westchase at this time," said WCA President Joaquin Arrillaga to WOW (World of Westchase). He continued, "Although we cannot get into specifics as they were addressed in executive board session, we asked GPI to transfer her to another assignment.”

LoCascio has served as association manager since June 2009, when she replaced Patty Stewart.

The WCA identified her temporary replacement as Susan Thomas, an experienced senior property manager. Thomas will step in during the interim and will serve as association manager until the board finishes its review of potential replacements. “We have already been promised we’ll have four candidates to interview in the next couple of weeks,” said Arrillaga. “We are working hard to make this a smooth transition for Westchase.”
