Flashy new rides spin on turntables, and dozens of 2011 model vehicles are unlocked and ready for guests to sit inside. Select vehicles will also be available to test drive.

The new electric Chevy Volt serves as one of the display centerpieces, and it's joined by several other fuel-efficient vehicles, including hybrids from Lexus, Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, and GMC.

Aside from the sorts of cars you could take home, plenty of concept cars, custom hot rods, and Hollywood vehicles are on display.

Check out the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard; the DeLorean from Back to the Future; the Flintstones' Flintmobile; and Black Beauty -- the hero car from the new movie The Green Hornet, which stars Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz and opens in January.

Concept cars include the towering Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 off-road concept truck and the sleek, silver Chevrolet Corvette Stingray concept car featured in the movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

The 2011-Model Tampa Bay International Auto Show runs December 3-5. Hours are Friday from Noon-10 a.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is $9 for adults and $4 for military, seniors, and students. Children six and under get in free with a paid adult.

On Friday, you can get in free with a special ticket available at Winn/Dixie supermarkets and The UPS Store locations while supplies last. You can buy tickets online and get more info at the Tampa Bay International Auto Show website.
