A drive down Bay to Bay in South Tampa
News

Tampa, Florida - If you drive the 1.8-mile stretch of Bay to Bay from MacDill Avenue to West Shore Boulevard, you may have noticed quite a few businesses along the way.

But have you really noticed them?

Whether you are familiar with South Tampa or are a stranger, there are some hidden treasures. So we decided to check some of these out.

First we stopped at Ta Francisco Cigars. It's been on Bay to Bay for five years and they actually sit and roll all of their own cigars. Three experienced rollers -- all from Cuba -- roll roughly 100 cigars a day!

From cigars to sweets, go a few doors down on Bay to Bay to Toffee to Go. Jim Schalk and his wife Lisa have been at this location for two years and make all of their own toffee, roughly 150-pounds a day! They pack the toffee in these cute little boxes which are the perfect gift for anyone.

We then went across the street... and back in time! A Hyde Park legend has grooved on over to Bay to Bay: Squaresville is a blast back to the 60's, 70's, and 80's. From 8-tracks to Velvet Elvis to really, really big hair... if you need something retro, this place has it.

So whether you're looking for food, fashion or hardware,  Bay to Bay Boulevard may be the place to be.
