FDOT announces construction lane closures for March 17 - March 23

 

Hillsborough County, Florida-- The Florida Department of Transportation has announced non-interstate, construction lane closures for this week. 

They are as follows: 

 

Busch Boulevard between Dale Mabry Highway and Armenia Avenue

  • Repaving – Intermittent daily lane closures Monday – Friday between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am.

Dale Mabry Highway between Kennedy Boulevard and Hillsborough Avenue

  • Concrete repair/repaving – Nightly lane closures Sunday- Wednesday from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Northbound Florida Avenue between Kennedy Boulevard and East Violet Street

  • Repaving – Northbound lane closures Sunday – Saturday, 24 hours a day.

Florida Avenue between Waters Avenue and Linebaugh Avenue

  • Repaving –Nightly lane closures Sunday – Thursday from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am and daily lane closures Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at Armenia Ave.

  • Signal replacement – Nightly lane closures Wednesday - Thursday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between I-4 and US 301

  • Resurfacing – Intermittent daily lane closures between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Hillsborough Avenue between 56th Street and Orient Road

  • Repaving – Nightly lane closures Sunday – Friday from 8:30 pm to 6:00 am.

50th Street between 23rd Avenue and Chelsea Street

  • Repaving – Nightly lane closures Sunday - Thursday from 7:30 pm to 7:00 am and daily lane closures Monday – Friday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.

56th Street between Chelsea Street and Fowler Avenue

  • Repaving – Nightly lane closures Sunday -Thursday from 7:30 pm to 7:00 am and daily lane closures Monday - Friday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Baker Street (US 92) at Park Road

  • Signal replacement – Nightly lane closures Sunday – Thursday from 8:30 pm to 6:00 am. 

FDOT advises commuters to plan alternate routes and to allow for extra travel time.
