Man threatens store officer for partner-in-crime
News

Tampa, FL-- Police are searching for two suspects who robbed the Walmart near I-275 sometime between midnight and 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to reports, the suspects conducted a fraudulent return in excess of $100 after shop lifting items from the shelf at that store.

Loss prevention stopped the woman at the front door of the store, and took her into the security office after a struggle, though she wouldn't be there for long.

The man returned to the store and threatened the loss prevention officer with an unknown object, "possibly a firearm" reports say. That's when the couple fled the store and got into the vehicle pictured above.

The duo, who were last seen at the Himes Ave. exit, have been described as follows:

Suspect 1:

  • White Male
  • 5'8"-5'10"
  • 155-165 lbs.
  • Thin build
  • Brown hair

Suspect 2:

  • White female
  • 5'4"- 5'6"
  • 140-155 lbs.
  • Medium build

Anyone with information is asked to call 813 231-6130.
