Update: More arrests in connection with Aaron Doty's murder | News
Sebring, Florida -- A fourth and fifth person are now under arrest in connection with the Sebring murder of 20-year-old Aaron Doty back on June 10.
Sheriff's investigators are charging 21-year-old Adriana Rodriguez with tampering with physical evidence after detectives say she cleaned up blood at the scene of the murder the following day.
Rodriguez was booked Tuesday night and is being held on $100,000 bond.
Deputies also arrested 21-year-old Travis Makris. He's charged with accessory after the fact, accused of storing clothing and other evidence possibly covered in blood.
The victim, 20-year-old Aaron Doty, was last seen at a late night party in the Sun 'N Lakes subdivision. His burned body was found by detectives just north of where the party was held.
22-year-old Jonathan Ray Rodriguez and 19-year-old Kenneth Filipe were charged June 13 with beating Doty to death at the party, and then burning his body in a nearby wooded area.
Tuesday, deputies also announced the arrest of 20-year-old Nicole Hebert who is accused of driving Rodriguez and Filipe out of the county.
"What continues to disturb me is what appears to be such a lack of good conscious by so many people," said Highlands County Sheriff Susan Benton, who urges parents to keep tabs on their kids.
She says parties involving drugs and alcohol continue, in some cases involving some of the same people connected with the Doty case.
"Parents, please I beg you, know where your kids are and who they are with," said Sheriff Benton.
