Citrus Park Mall hosts "Pink Party"

Citrus Park, Florida - Westfield Citrus Park is teaming up with students and breast cancer survivors to design and mode pink-inspired clothing for breast cancer awareness.

The "Pink Party" is Oct. 15 from noon until 5 p.m.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Westfield Citrus Park has partnered with St. Joseph's Women's Hospital and the International Academy of Design and Technology, Tampa (IADT) to honor breast cancer survivors with the "Pink Project Reveal".

Advisory lifted for Ben T. Davis Beach

Tampa, FL -- The Health Advisory issued for Ben T. Davis Beach on Sept. 29 as a precautionary measure due to a sewage line break in the area has been lifted.

According to the Hillsborough County Health Department, initial and follow-up testing has been satisfactory based on the marine water bacterial indicator results as recommended by the EPA.

Sewage line break closes Ben T. Davis

Tampa, FL -- A Health Advisory has been issued for Ben T. Davis beach as a precautionary measure due to a sewage line break in the area.

The Hillsborough County Health Department has recommended to the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department that Ben T. Davis beach be closed to the bathing public as precautionary measure until sampling can be to done to ensure the safety of the public.

Members of the community and visitors should consider a health risk to swim in the area until the water can be sampled and tested to confirm that the water is within the satisfactory range as recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency, (EPA) and the Department of Environmental Protection, (DEP).

Free Yoga class for seniors in Riverview!

Riverview, Florida - Adults can take part in a free 30-min session of relaxing and gentle yoga designed especially for seniors.

The class takes place on Monday, Sept. 26 in the community room of the Riverview Branch Library at 10509 Riverview Drive in Riverview.
