Ruskin, Florida - Hillsborough County residents aged 50 and over are invited to attend free healthy eating presentations for National Nutrition Month.

March is National Nutrition Month, and Hillsborough County's Division of Aging Services is holding special "I Love To Eat" presentations at its Nutrition and Senior Centers.

All events are open to Hillsborough County residents aged 50 and over. 

Chui Schecter, Nutrition Services Coordinator of the Division of Aging Services, will be presenting information on eating healthy, and, at some of the events, leading attendees in an exercise activity. Chui's presentation will incorporate the United States Department of Agriculture's MyPlate model, which illustrates the types of foods necessary for good health and a portion size guide.

Attendees also can sign-up for future activities or meal services at the Centers when they attend one of the events.
