Patel Conservatory presents "Joust! A Mighty Medieval Musical"

Tampa, Florida -- The Patel Conservatory at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts will present Joust! A Mighty Medieval Musical, performed by 40 students in grades two through four, Feb. 27-March 1 and March 6-8.

In this unique tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, weapons are replaced by musical instruments, making for musically uproarious fun. The show is a medieval marvel, complete with jousting knights, delightful damsels and court jesters that will capture the interest of audiences of all ages.

9th Annual Suncoast Arts Festival

Save the date! The 9th Annual Suncoast Arts Festival is an exciting way to spend the weekend with your family and friends, and it's taking place this month on the third weekend of the month at Wiregrass Mall. 

On Saturday, January 18, from 10 a.m.  to 6 p.m., and Sunday, January 19 from 11:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. locals can look forward to this free event featuring over 130 fine artists and crafters in one convenient location.

Plant Museum presents Christmas Stroll

Tampa, Florida-- The Henry B Plant Museum is presenting a Victorian Christmas stroll from 10 am to 8 pm daily through December 23.

The Christmas stroll features 14 exhibit rooms decorated in 19th century themes with holiday accessories.

The Henry B. Plant Museum is located at the University of Tampa 401 East Kennedy Blvd. in Downtown Tampa.

Children’s Board Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay to host “Be Mine, A Night in Foreverland”

Tampa, FL – The Children’s Board Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay will host its 2nd annual “Be Mine, A Night in Foreverland”  to benefit foster children in need of forever families. The event will be held Thursday, February 6th from 6:30 – 9:30 at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Tampa. Santa coming to Downtown Tampa Market

Santa coming to Downtown Tampa Market

Tampa, Florida  Santa is coming to Downtown Tampa this Sunday as part of the Downtown market.

Santa will be at 601 Ashley Drive across from Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park along with more than 50 vendors for the market.

From 11 am to 2 pm, Santa will pose with kids for pictures with an iPad station to send the photos directly to email.

Those visiting Santa are asked to bring non-perishable food for Metropolitan Ministries or pet food and supplies for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
