High Rollers Car Club cruises into Valrico

Valrico, FL -- Classic cars are about to cruise into Valrico, again. The High Rollers Car Club hosts several Local Cruise-In's each month.

On the First Saturday of each month the Classic Cars rolls into Valrico.

Some of the vintage cars include a 1960 Ford T-Bird, 1957 Chevy Belair, 1963 Chevrolet Impala Convertible, 1957 Chevy Nomad, 1967 AC Cobra just to name a few.

Learn more about stars and planets this weekend!

Ruskin, FL -- Six astronauts are set to launch aboard the space shuttle Discovery from NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Feb. 24.

The STS-133 mission to the International Space Station is the final scheduled flight for Discovery before it is retired.

In the meanwhile, though, there's a way to learn much about the stars and planets during a multi-media astronomy presentation.

Tampa, FL -- Celebrate the Navy Band Pride, Navy divers and even Navy artists as part of Tampa Bay Navy Week.

The events planned all week are designed to give Americans a better understanding of the important work Navy Sailors do all around the world.

One of the events involves the Navy Band "Pride."

The band is performing for students at Robinson High in South Tampa today from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The talented musicians will also hold a music clinic for students.

You're invited to attend many of the Tampa Bay Navy events. Here's a list of events submitted to 10 News:

Free classic car and truck show in Riverview Saturday!

Riverview, FL -- There's a free classic car and truck show in Riverview on Saturday, Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

It's being held at Winthrop Plaza which is near the corner of Providence Road and Bloomingdale Avenue in Riverview.

Organizers say the event is open to the public and families are welcome.

Tampa, FL -- Hamburger Mary's on 7th Avenue in Ybor will host Drag Queen Bingo this evening, Wednesday Jan. 26 with all the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

For $10 customers will get 30 bingo cards which can be used for 10 games (3 cards per game).

Customers will also be given a loaner bingo dauber.

Valrico, FL -- Today, Bloomingdale High School hosted a ceremony to recognize the Battle of the Belts winners.

The school was also the Battle of the Belts winner.

Deputy Superintendent of Schools Ken Otero and Colonel Greg Brown with the sheriff's office attended the ceremony, along with guest speaker, Shane Downs.

Shane shared his story of a 2006 rollover crash which resulted in the death of his best friend who was not wearing a safety belt.
