Free workshops offered to child care providers

Hillsborough County, Florida-- All licensed child care providers in Hillsborough County will have a number of opportunities to expand their knowledge base and learn new skills during free continuing education classes this Summer. 

The classes, offered by the University of Florida and the Hillsborough County Extension Service, aim to provide additional training and technical assistance to the county's early childhood professionals. They will cover a variety of topics, and are set to begin as soon as next Tuesday, July 16.

While the sessions are free for Hillsborough attendees, peope from other counties are welcome to attend for a $10 fee.

  • Saturday, Aug. 10, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. - Friendship and Play Skills
