Organic Open Market opens in NW Hilllsborough | Environment

Citrus Park, Florida - If you're looking for organic vegetables with a little fun thrown in, head to the new Odessa Open Market.

The open air market is located at 8701 Gunn Highway, north of Sickles High School in northwest Hillsborough County.

Owner John Ciani says it was his goal to start a business "to educate and provide healthy choices, support local businesses and bring the community together at our open market."

The market is open Wednesday through Sunday.

Ciani says they get vegetables and other products from local farms including dairy, eggs and honey.

Every two weeks there is an open market with over two dozen vendors, live music and a beer vendor.
