Tampa, Florida-- They say necessity is the mother of invention, and that was clearly the case for Diane Gilman.  Gilman is the creator of DG2 Jeans for baby boomer women.  Her design started a trend, and now, ten years later, she has sold millions of jeans.

Gilman will be doing a Q&A and signing for her new book at the Barnes & Noble in Tampa at 7 p.m. on April 22. It's a true success story for Gilman, who at 50-years-old, found herself newly widowed, overweight, and in a slump. Instead of accepting it, she put her energy into something she loved - fashion- and ended up selling more than seven million pairs of her signature jeans and becoming the #1 fashion star on HSN, all after turning 60.

In her new memoir/self-help/business how-to book, 'GOOD JEANS: 10 Simple Trust about Feeling Great, Staying Sexy & Aging Agelessly', Gilman tells her incredible story of how she became a strong, successful woman and offers tips on how to reinvigorate passion and purpose in life.

The Barnes & Noble hosting the book signing is located at 213 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa.
