Police identify man killed in Seminole Heights

Tampa, Florida -- A man was apparently shot and killed in southeast Seminole Heights early Wednesday morning.

Around 3 a.m., Tampa Police say a person on a bicycle heard a gunshot and then saw a man on the ground near the intersection of Nebraska Avenue and Ellicott Street.  The witness parked their bike in the middle of the street and ran to a nearby intersection to flag down a passing police officer.

Police say Coryell D. Parker had a gunshot wound to his upper body and was pronounced dead when emergency crews arrived.

Tampa, FL -- Hillsborough deputies say a father was arrested after video was posted online showing the man cheering on his teenage son in a fistfight with another teen.

The home made video was posted to the website "World Star Hip Hop."

Juvenile in custody after brandishing firearm in front of young girl

Tampa, FL -- Tampa Police Officers were dispatched to 30th Street & Emma in reference to a juvenile who brandished a firearm in front of a young girl.

The juvenile was last walking west on Emma Street. Officers attempted to make contact with the subject, but he fled on foot through Middleton High School.

Officers observed the boy remove a firearm from his waistband and began running through the campus with the firearm in his right hand.  Air Service responded and they obtained a visual of the suspect while fleeing from the police.

Accused cop killer's Seffner cousin in court

Tampa, Florida - The 26-year-old Seffner woman and cousin to accused cop killer Dontae Morris faced a judge Wednesday. 

Tampa police believe Alaina Nichole Riggins helped hide Dontae Morris from officers during a manhunt to find him last summer. 

Officers have yet to prove that, but in the meantime Riggins was arrested on unrelated charges. Back in January, she was pulled over for a traffic violation.

Gibsonton, Florida - Detectives are asking for your help.

They're looking for a man who walked into the Evolution Cabaret bikini strip club after three in the morning on March 19.

Watch the video and you will see that the suspect stands at the bar, walks aound the bar, comes right up behind a man sitting at the bar and slaps him in the face with a glass, shattering the glass.

Lowry Park Zoo volunteer arrested for molesting boy

Tampa, Florida -- A volunteer at Lowry Park Zoo is under arrest--charged with molesting a nine-year-old boy on zoo property.


Cameron Spurback, 21, is charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition and lewd and lascivious molestation.


According to the police report, the boy went into a zoo bathroom and was approached by Spurback who pulled the boy's pants down and fondled him.

Seffner, FL -- Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is looking for a pair of men they say broke into two houses in the Seffner area and tried to break into a third home. 


According to the sheriff's office in each case, the suspects entered the homes by shattering a rear glass sliding door.
