Tampa, FL -- Tampa Police detectives have made an arrest involving the death of a Northeast Tampa man on June 29.

Blood, collected at the scene of the home on 4008 East Paris St. where 49-year-old Nelson Carillo was found stab to death, came back with a match in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's database.

Charles Edward Chambers, 36, of 1905 Annona Ave., was identified as the suspect. Police say he also pawned a piece of the victim's jewelry.

Chambers was arrested on Monday, Aug. 15 and was taken to TPD headquarters where he was uncooperative with detectives. He is being charged with second degree murder.
