Wesley Chapel, FL -- Pasco County Sheriff's detectives have released the identification of a suspect in a June 21 murder attempt in Wesley Chapel.

29-year-old Simon Rafeal Iglesia, who last known address is 27140 Big Sur Drive in Wesley Chapel, is suspected by police of shooting three rounds at a moving vehicle in the Northwood Palms subdivision in Wesley Chapel.

According to police, Iglesia was driving a black 2004 Volkswagon Jetta at the time of the shooting.

One round hit the bumper of the victim's car, one round hit the garage door of a nearby home, and one round hit the side door of the victim's car, and then entered the side of the 20-year-old victim. He has since been released from the hospital. The shooting occurred after an argument at the Northwood Palms basketball court.

Iglesia is described as 5'11" tall, weighing 200 lbs.

Anyone who has any information as to the whereabouts of Iglesia is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous.
