Tampa, Florida -- A man was caught robbing a C1 Bank in Tampa and has also been connected to two other Tampa robberies.

Tampa Police have arrested a suspect who robbed three Tampa banks in the last six weeks. On Thursday, Frederick Williams walked into the C1 Bank on 110 Boulevard South and presented a teller a note demanding money.  

After Williams received the money, he took a cab to the Brandon Mall where officers spotted him exiting the mall with his purchases. Williams was immediately taken into custody and later admitted to two earlier robberies on at Regions Bank on South Dale Mabry and another at Chase Bank on North Dale Mabry. 

Williams, 42, was transported to the Hillsborough County Jail and charged with three counts of armed robbery.
