Tampa, Florida -- Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies are searching for the man who robbed an ATM customer at a Bank of America branch in Tampa Monday afternoon.

Detectives say the man walked up behind the victim while he was at the ATM in the 200 block of Bearss Avenue and demanded money from him while armed with a silver or chrome handgun.

The robber then got into a grey, newer model, Dodge Journey SUV and drove away west on Bearss towards Florida Avenue.

He is described as a light-skinned, black male, around 25 years old, 6 feet tall, and 270 pounds with a large build and black hair. He was last seen wearing a grey tank top and dark shorts.
