Fatal nightclub shooting surveillance video released | Crime

Tampa, Florida -- Tampa Police detectives are asking for the public's help identifying the people who may have witnessed the shooting outside the Hollywood Nights nightclub that resulted in a man's death on the morning of May 11.
The people detectives are interested in speaking with are the ones seen the above surveillance video in the parking lot leaving the club. They were close to 21-year-old Wayne Lanier at the time he was shot and killed and detectives need those people to help them with the case.

The shooting was the result of a fight that broke out inside the club on North Howard Avenue. Club security broke up the fight as everyone was leaving, shots were fired and Lanier and Omar Bacon were hit. Bacon, 26, was treated at St. Joseph's Hospital and released with non-life threatening injuries.
