Man breaks dog's leg during argument | Crime
Riverview, Florida -- Hillsborough County detectives are asking for the public's help locating a man wanted for animal cruelty, domestic battery and stalking.
Deputies say on Nov. 5, Dorell Maxwell Webb got into a verbal argument with Lorisa Bass about relationship issues at her home. When he started to get out of control, Bass tried to flee the scene. However, Webb did everything in his power to stop her from leaving including breaking a key in a car ignition, messing with the engine of another car, shattering her cell phone and ripping land line phone cords out of the wall.
At one point, in order to keep her from leaving, Webb grabbed her dog and threatened to break its neck. He then threw the dog down on the driveway, fracturing it's leg in two places.
Bass was able to call police and Webb fled before they got there.
Police are still searching for Webb, 39, who may be driving an older model Chevrolet Malibu, baby blue in color or a black Ford Mustang convertible. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 803-247-8200.
