Tampa, FL -- Students for Social Justice will be selling jewelry at the Bull Market from the organization Beads for Life.

Beads for Life employs women in Uganda who take recycled paper and make jewelry out of it.

This serves to empower the women through employment and also gives them a significantly higher wage for their work.

Tampa, FL -- A number of Ybor City restaurants are once again participating in this year's Dine Out, Fight AIDS campaign.

On April 28, participating restaurants will donate 25% of dinner sales to ASAP or Aids Service Association of Pinellas.

More than 75 restaurants in the Bay area are participating this year including Hamburger Mary's, Roma Pizza and Streetcar Charlie's in Ybor City.

Wesley Chapel, FL -- Wesley Chapel Nissan is donating a pre-owned car to Floodgates Community Church to be given away Saturday, April 23 in one of the largest Easter egg hunts in the Tampa Bay area.

Troy Stevensen, Internet Director and Glenn Gibson General Manager of Wesley Chapel Nissan are spearheading the big Easter give away which is part of a community outreach program.

And get this, the raffle for the donated car is free

Riverview, FL -- Riverview High School will be celebrating their annual Earth Day Beautification project on May 11, 2011. 

In years past, this project has involved 200 + students with over a dozen faculty and community members volunteering their time to assist these “GREEN” students in their beautification efforts across the entire campus.  

Projects this great in scale cannot be successful without the help of sponsorship.  

They need your assistance this year in making this project as great if not better than last year.

Join the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking (FCAHT) and Ella's Folk Art Cafe in celebrating Emancipation Day on Saturday, April 16 from 1 - 3 p.m. in effort to raise money and awareness about modern day slavery in the U.S. and around the world.
