Citrus Park Mall hosts "Pink Party"

Citrus Park, Florida - Westfield Citrus Park is teaming up with students and breast cancer survivors to design and mode pink-inspired clothing for breast cancer awareness.

The "Pink Party" is Oct. 15 from noon until 5 p.m.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Westfield Citrus Park has partnered with St. Joseph's Women's Hospital and the International Academy of Design and Technology, Tampa (IADT) to honor breast cancer survivors with the "Pink Project Reveal".

Ten breast cancer survivors have been paired with senior-level design students from IADT to design sportswear garments - all pink and all inspired by the individual woman who overcame the disease.

Survivors will ultimately escort models down the runway as their stories are told on Oct. 15 at Westfield Citrus Park's "Pink Party."

The garments will remain on display through Oct. 31, giving shoppers the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the designs."

100% of  the proceeds will benefit St. Joseph's Women's Hospital.
