Tampa, FL -- The Band Perry with Purina Dog Chow will host a charity dog wash, open to the public, with proceeds benefitting The Humane Society of Tampa Bay this Friday, April 29!

Local residents are encouraged to bring their dogs – especially if they are in need of a good bath. The band will interact with fans, sign autographs, and give away CDs and concert tickets before pitching in to wash local dogs.

The band will hang out fans and have an autograph session from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The event will take place at The Humane Society of Tampa Bay located at 3607 North Armenia Ave. in Tampa.

The Band Perry is one of the hottest break-through acts in Country music and, since January 2011, the family band has served as the face of the Purina Dog Chow Double Dog Dare Contest.

The sibling trio of Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry racked up CMA, ACM and even Grammy nominations throughout 2010, not to mention chart topping singles.

Their first single, “Hip To My Heart,” became a top-20 hit and was followed by the inspirational “If I Die Young,” which went all the way to No. 1 and was certified Platinum for sales in excess of 1 million copies.

Their latest, “You Lie” is now in the Top 15 at radio and the sassy anthem of a woman scorned has become their fastest-climbing single to date.

Fans voted to make The Band Perry winners of two ACM Awards, Top New Artist and New Vocal Duo or Group. This spring, The Band Perry will join Tim McGraw on his Emotional Traffic tour.
