USF Students Aim To Bring Mumford & Sons to Sun Dome

Tampa, FL -#BULLS4BABEL is a social media and grassroots campaign developed in partnership with USF Student Government and Global Spectrum at the USF Sun Dome. The campaign is aimed at bringing the student body's favorite band, Mumford & Sons, to play the Sun Dome in 2013.

The student body has shown an overwhelming passion for the band's music and an unmatched entrepreneurial spirit in developing this campaign. They hope to assist in satisfying the desires of these hard working and dedicated students by delivering the results of this campaign to the band and bringing Mumford & Sons to the Sun Dome on the campus of the University of South Florida.

"It would mean a great deal to the Student Body if Mumford & Sons were to play at the Sun Dome. We have a lot of dedicated fans of Mumford & Sons; many of which even drove to see them perform at the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee. The students here are passionate about the band and would love to have such great performers come on campus and showcase their talent!" said USF Student Body President, Brian Goff.

The #BULLS4BABEL campaign took to the streets in an effort to attract the attention of Mumford & Sons. The campaign includes extensive grassroots techniques spearheaded by the USF Student Body. Through three easy steps the students and local Tampa Bay community can show their support

2.Ttweet why you want Mumford & Sons to come to the Sun Dome using the hashtag #BULLS4BABEL 

3. Sign the online petition (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/bulls4babel).

USF Student and fan Wihelm Wieland said "I first discovered Mumford & Sons on the USF student music channel, so it would only be fitting that I see my first concert by them at our Sun Dome! I've hash tagged #BULLS4BABEL a couple times a day on my twitter account while quoting my favorite lyrics from their new album to keep everyone aware of their phenomenal music so that others will join the campaign to bring them here!"

According to the October issue of Billboard Magazine Mumford & Sons' recent album "Babel" [bey-buh l] sold over 600,000 copies.  Popular singles include "I Will Wait", "Little Lion Man" and "The Cave".
