Tampa, Florida-- The Professional Philanthropy Network's (PPN) goal is to create networking opportunities and positive career connections for Tampa Bay area professionals while giving back to deserving charitable causes.

On May 22nd at The Lodge (516 S Howard Ave, Tampa), 100% of our event's proceeds will be donated to our May beneficiary, Sergeant Michael Nicholson!

Sgt Nicholson lost most of his limbs while serving in Afghanistan back in 2011. He has since been accepted as the recipient of a smart home through the Building for America's Bravest program- an organization that builds customized homes for some of the nation's most severely injured servicemen and women.

Groundbreaking on Sgt Nicholson's home took place last Thursday, and though proceeds from Friday's LT. Dan Band Concert went towards the cause, the Building for America's Bravest Smart Home Registry shows Nicholson's home only has 20% of the necessary funds.

You can help make a difference at next Wednesday's event! Starting at 6 p.m., a $10 donation at the door will get you a complimentary drink and appetizers.

If you cannot make next week's event, but still would like to donate to the construction of Sgt Nicholson's smart home, you can do so here!
