Good Samaritan rescues family in Ruskin

Ruskin, Florida -- A good Samaritan made a daring rescue in Ruskin.

It happened last week when a family of four took their boat out into the bay. That boat ended up capsizing, and they were forced to cling to a channel marker for 14 hours.

Thankfully, Sam Closkey was headed out fishing with his friends when he saw the family and jumped into action.

Boaters are urged to have an electronic locating device on board. It provides GPS satellite of your location.
